Plot Synopsis, Review
Hoffman escaped his trap and is after revenge for Jill Tuck, meanwhile a group of survivors reuinite to discuss their torment.
Good. Another year, and what is marketed as the last Saw movie has an open-ending. WTF?. Anyway, while it wasn't as gorey as it's last few preceeders it was still entertaining and fu n to watch. The death-traps this time were really unique and the grittiness texture of the film was also a plus. Plot-wise they clearly don't have much left, and the ending was an eye-roller. I didn't see it in 3D -:(- because it's rated R18+ in Australia so I went to tye Drive-in and saw it.
The plot is very simple. A faux jigsaw survivor cashes in on his fake story whilst his colleagues are part of erratic traps (Saw III anyone). No plot holes because all unasnwered questions were resolved.
Overall "Saw VIII" is another average installment in the awesome franchise. My rating is 3/5.
