Plot Synopsis, Review
A special military unit fights a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident.
Average. As far as horror action flicks go, this is an enjoyable film that strives on effects. It maintained it's pacing and effectively kept the audience on edge as the flick went along. It was successful in keeping the audience guessing, although it had several cliche's (like who was gonna die etc etc).
The plot was adapted from the extremely popular video game of the same name. It's zombie effects were excellent and very cool, and the ending was unpredictable which was good. It also had an open-ending.
The acting was good. Milla Jovovich was great as heroine Alice, being innocent at the start to tough-chick at the end. Michelle Rodriguez is amazing. She always plays tough-chick roles because she's great at it. Gotta love her.
Overall "Resident Evil" is an average flick that keeps you entertained and guessing. My rating is 3/5.
