Plot Synopsis, Review
A group of young American ex-pats with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities are hiding from a clandestine U.S. government agency. They must utilize their different talents and band together for a final job enabling them to escape the agency forever.
Pointless. THe film sets-up many scenes, intriguing you to think that it will explain unanswered questions, but they never do. It was dragged on and on, and the ending was so irritatingly annoying, and didn't even gives us information that kept us watching. There were key scenes which had high tension, but it was broken by the sheer predictability. The action sequences were good, but I felt that too much of the film was too fast paced, and was not very informant on vital information.
The plot was somewhat refreshing, I can say i've never seen a film with the same basis. The dialogue was sketchy, and the characters seemed to always change whether they rae good, or evil.
The acting was allright, with "Dakota Fanning" stealing the show. Her portrayal of the 13y.o girl who can see the future was great, and sometimes moving. "Chris Evans" was the lead, and was too full of himself, and "Camilla Belle" seemed too in the moment.
Overall "Push" drags on, ia pointless, and doesn't leave you gripped or wanting more at the end. My rating is 2/5.
