Plot Synopsis, Review
Harry ignores warnings not to return to Hogwarts, only to find the school
plagued by a series of mysterious attacks and a strange voice haunting him.
This sequel is my favourite in the franchise. It turns up the action and horror
elements and is another childhood favourite. The film adds alot more comical
scenes than it's preceeder, and it introduces some new characters aswell as
keeping the audience intrigued the entire time. The film, like the first, has a very
lengthy running time, but it never outstays it welcome either. It's a joy to watch,
and the plot for this one is much more exciting for audiences. The first film had
a giant three-headed dog, and Chamber has a giant spider sequence.
The acting was great again, and the film is dedicated to the memory of Richard Harris, who died shortly before the films release. He played Headmaster Albus Dumbledore and I prefer his portrayol than his successor Michael Gambon.
Overall Harry Potter 2 is slightly better than the first one, and is still an amazing experience a decade later. My rating is 4.5/5.
