2009 Movies
2009 will be a great year for horror. With remakes of "The Unborn" and "Froday The 13th" in first quarter of the year. Others im excited about are "Passengers", "Final Destination 4 3D", "Pirhana", "Case 39", "The Uninvited", and plenty of others. Watch this space for more.
DVD Releases
Horror flicks of late in the US are finally getting release dates here. What i mean is that DIRECT-TO-DVD films over there are getting released here shortly after, although not with the special features but still, it's good to see local versions here now.
DVD specialists EzyDVD are getting some cool exclusives for some horrors released soon. When you buy "THE HAPPENING" or "THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE" you get a free collectors tin to store the dvd in. The tin is just big enough for the DVD to fit inside, the front of the tin is the same as the DVD cover, but the back has nothing, just a image. You can pick them up for $29.97 when released, or pre-order. Also avaliable in the tins is The Final Destination Thrill-ogy (Tin is same as Thrill-ogy released in box last year), or the Saw Quadrilogy (Cover of tin is a severed foot). They can be picked up $24.97 (Final Destination) and $59.97 (Saw 1-4). Cloverfield is also avaliable in collectors tin.
